Spotted for Illustration Friday
When I asked Paul if I could have something a little more exotic for breakfast, this wasn't exactly what I had in mind. "Hello," the little fella said, introducing himself. "I'm Banjo, and as you can see, I'm a spotted hippopotamus and I caught a lift out of my war-torn country on this banana. If you don't eat me and allow me to live, I will grace your life with laughter and song forevermore," he said.
I reassured Banjo that he would be quite safe in OUR house, and there you have it! Another addition to the family. He got even more excited when I explained about Illustration Friday and insisted on posing for me.

You're a nutter you are (the wonderful, funny genius type of nutter that is).
Glad to see Banjo prefers the fair trade nanbannies. A spotted, refugee hippo with a conscience you got there! Just nobody tell Jack Straw or the police will be round to deport him.
Keep up the crazy stories and the cool art.
Wonderful composition, Tammy. That is one adorable hippo.
Hello Banjo! Glad you are safe in good hands now.

I love the energy in your ink drawings. Really interesting work!
First I really like the artwork. Second I hope one of these days these little characters of yours are published, so warm are the stories with each one, very appealing!
