30.5.10 ~ Boscombe & Bournemouth 100 word diary

Yesterday’s highlights: Jake shouting “Pena, pena!!” on the train (that’s his word for penis and for once we were glad he’s not yet pronouncing his words properly), and Boscombe Pier in the stormy weather. It was beautifully dramatic and Jake loved it, shrieking along with the wind and the waves.
Today’s highlights: Jake’s first walk on a beach, taking him to the Oceanarium and discovering Reef Encounter, a wonderful restaurant with a laid back and common sense attitude to people, especially families. Games to play while waiting for your food, blankets for people sitting outside and a general can-do attitude.
