8.7.10 ~ 100 word diary

I went out in the evening for dinner at Wahaca with my friend Shikha and an impromptu trip to the NPG for the BP Portrait Award exhibition. I was struck by the number of portraits of children in the exhibition this year. Shikha and I wondered why we never much like the winning portraits. Jake woke up from his nap just as I was going out. He saw that I was wearing my shoes and said, “Oh?! Go out?” When I told him I was going out, he was rather upset. When I got home he happily sang “Mummy Mummy!”
