After a whiny morning and an unsuccessful trip to the playground with Jake, his friend E and her Mum, we decided to go to Russell Square and let the little ones play in the park with the fountain. They were loving it until Jake got a big gush of water on his face, whirled around in shock and fell over, sending his bucket flying. All our spectators gasped. He was shaken but fine, though he didn’t want to go back in. Later, E did a wee on the grass and on the way home, they had icecream and fell asleep.
