Clean for Illustration Friday

Clean? I've always found the concepts of cleanliness and sin to be somewhat dubious.

I agree - a very subtle interpretation, and beautiful use of watercolour.

I agree with you! This is so soft and pretty on a visual level, and compelling on a conceptual level. It makes me think of the Virgin Mary with lilies, but she's indistinct and the colors aren't pure as they bleed into each other. It seems like a challenge to the religious concept of purity and innocence. Well done, Tammy!

i agree. i've known too many people who are pristine in their clean {including me], and are far from virginal. I like the soft, easy flow of this easy and lovely to see.

The only people I've ended up trusting are all a bit grubby.
Even after they've had a bath.
