Beautiful illustration of tender love. Nothing like a sweet kitten to bring it out in even the most macho sort of guy.

I love how the cat's sort of sunken into the bed clothes! Thanks for the step by step description.

Oh, I know the feeling! I can't get over how much I love my felines! Nice work with the strong lines and strong colors, it really illustrates a strong love between the man and cat.

Strikinf! The layout and those clean vivid colors are fresh and lend a strong emotional impact.
Your friends face does say 'smitten' with his gentle hand giving a cozy comfort to his new friend.

Not to go on and on, but I wanted to mention the preliminary sketches, I always enjoy looking at those.

I like how he looks at the cat, with his hand resting/stroking so gently! Looking at this illo has a calming effect on me :) Great illo heartful blogger!

Oh I love this. I have had cats and kittens since as long as I can remember, and this is such a sweet image. So many times I have cuddled with my kitten in a similar way. Great job
