"Set your heart on fire and seek those who fan your flames." ~ Rumi
This old bag is smokin'!
Okay, I know it's lame, but so's the topic, whatever the heck it is. Plus, it's late and my brain is fried. Oh look, a shiny object!
Please can we have a GOOD topic next week.
Your work is very impressive! I just happened upon your site but now it's in my bookmarks. Now I'll take a look at your profile...
But I think this is lovely, preciously so
I love the colors in this! And, it's not lame at all...that bag is smokin' ! Hey...good luck with NaNoWriMo:>
It's funnny, the last three topics were ghost, wind, smoke... can we have something with some opacity, please?
Funny! Have you heard the saying about money burning a hole in your pocket? Here the purse has gone up in flames! Coins fused with melting plastic cards... this one is for my sister(she would whack me good if she read this)!!!Heheh!
Call it what you want and be unhappy about the topic but the truth stands....this is a beautiful painting!
So? Why do you think this is lame? I guess you already said, personally, I really like it. So, if that means anything... quit being down on yourself.
I liked the topic! I it bonfire night here, and we are all busy setting fire to things... like bags :)
great idea!! nice work.
i have had a hard time with smoke too... haven't even posted it yet, so you are ahead of me ... with this lovely purse.it's smooookin!
I think it's groovy!
Sounds like a case of 'Shinny thing syndrome'there Tammy. :o)
Great colors and lighting here. And I like the connection to the topic.Yep, the topics could be better. Of course, I haven't submitted any suggestions, so I can't say anything. I just make some oblique connection and go off on my own, largely ignoring the topic.
Yes, this was a difficult topic! I agree...but this is a fantastic piece to fit it!
Oh come on, you may not like it, but the burning bag needs a frame-beautiful work!
Hi! I really love the bold colors and the loose paint work. I think this painting is a winner!
I actually love it. Great colors, especially the warm orange. Can't wait to see what you'll paint when you get a subject that you actually like. :)
