Mother for Monday Artday

I drew this portrait for the new blog Monday Artday. The challenge this week is mother. So I dug out an old black and white passport photo of my Mom holding me as a baby and properly had a go at drawing. It's been a long time since I spent so long working on something that wasn't for a course or assignment and I really enjoyed it. Great challenge Bearuh!

Check out Monday Artday and other participants work here.

Tammy, you really are talented! I love your drawing. Now I am tempted to draw myself (and Milla)..

yeah yeah...you know, I am self-absorbed:-)))

hi hi

p.s The tulips painting you painted for your mum is lovely. I'd be happy if Milla paints that for me. I am sure she'd be delighted.

kisses.

Love seeing the sketch and then the final finished piece. Great looking, colors and expresions are realistic, and I bet your mother loves this. You look cute to!
