Illustration Friday - Feet

Here are two of my favourite feet in the world. Yes, I am a paw fetishist.
Caesar paws, drawn in marker pens and white crayon pencil. 18.3.06 Posted by Picasa

Cute. Umm... what about the other two paws?
love

I like the other two too, in this picture, they are discretely tucked under.

He looks like he's grooming himself, his left paw in particular, cute and appealing illo.

I love it, it reminds me my cat's Fito

my cat has six toes on his front feet - I have an illustration that is in my sons bedroom of him - when he spreads them out to stretch out the claws they look like over-sized tennis racquets! Thanks for commenting on my blog - please come back to see how the illustration progresses as the assignments are revealed

Looks like he's beckoning you forward. Not a bad likeness. Cute lil fella.

Very cute, makes me miss my cat Glida's paws.
I love that you draw with markers, I'm not that brave yet (need the option to erase mistakes or at least camoflage them...)

I love cat paws! I love how they tuck and curve them under to groom them. They treat their feet better than we treat ours, ha. Very nicely done.

like the perspective on this and also the freedom of your sketching.

There's a cat theme developing here Tammy.
You have a cat fetish, I appear to have a sheep fetish, but Im glad to see your developing a more subtle & intimate approach than my ever increasingly manic efforts.

Always good to have a look through your work.

Thanks Sim. Yes, it's true. But he's my first cat, my first pet in fact, and I'm totally in love with the little fella. Either that or I'm just a tad obsessive!

Nothing like kitty's paws! My kitty has little pieces of fur that come out between her toes...they are so soft! I love just rubbing them (she doesn't like it at times, however).

Anyway...great illo!!

You've captured a great cat paw moment. It sounds weird, but there's something so sophisticated about the way cats lick their paws. Nice drawing!

One of my memories of my second cat "black toe" [who was all black with white paws and one black toe, her mom was "momma cat" - because my dad said we couldn't have cats, and therefore couldn't name them] was watching her delicately groom her paws after batting a shrew to death - two cat preoccupations.

Thanks for your kind comments; I really like your sense of space.
