painting in the garden for the first and last time

Spent a gorgeous Wednesday afternoon painting with my friend Mad. It was the first truly warm day of the year, and we'd been sitting chatting when we decided to get creative. Mad saw the cheapy box of kids watercolours that Paul & I had been using and got really excited! We got stuck in, and were utterly absorbed. Fun and meditative at the same time. It strikes me that this is the first time I've painted in my garden, and as we're moving next week, it will probably be the last too...

i love the piece that you've done, but i'm really impressed by your backyard! what a great space, shame that you're moving. love your little cat also - you could almost do a take on those greek island photos, with the white buildings and the black cat lounging around.

Your cat is so good, just sitting there posing like that for you! :)
