the dark hole of despair is spotted in its dismal hiding place

The rather badly drawn cartoon reads, "Have you seen the dark hole of despair? I seem to have misplaced it and it's making me unacceptably chirpy. Look, my trousers are turning a ghastly bright colour."

A voice from beyond says, "I think the cat's got it."

And indeed, the cat has spotted it in its dismal hiding place. Whereupon the dark hole of despair says, "Oh just leave me alone." Posted by Picasa

What happens if the dark hole crawls up into itself? It's a vicious never-ending cycle!

That's funny, clever and completely irreverent (in the best possible way). As someone who has wallowed around in the hole, black humour is sometimes the best medicine. Love it!

LOL...I love that fact that her trousers are turning 'ghastly bright'. That line cracked me up.

Hey that's my black hole of despair - you get your own!

And why is Caesar green - never struck me as the jealous type?
