Speed 2 for Illo Fri: Fast Friends

For those of you who remember Sydney, and/or are familiar with Mae, who can be found at www.maethebear.blogspot.com or have come across her rabbit relocation programme, (see www.rabbitrelocation.blogspot.com ) you will have been introduced to Cinnamon.

For those of you who haven't, Cinnamon came to live with me on Friday. Sydney is of course the telepathic chameleon space horse I adopted and whose portrait I drew for Illo Friday's monster topic. It just so happens that Cinnamon and Sydney are getting on like a house on fire, and have become fast friends. Cinnamon is very quiet, but as Sydney is telepathic, this is a bonus rather than a problem. Sydney never was that keen on noise. Notice the joyful warm glow that exudes from them as they bask in each other's company. Ahhhh.

Hey Tammy, I just wanted to pop by and answer your question on whether or not I feel like I have a style. I gave it a lot of thought and I even looked back through everything I have posted on my blog. My answer is yes, I think I do have a style. I'm not really sure how it came to be…I’m pretty sure I never thought, okay I want to draw things that look like this. I just love abstracting reality and playing with color. The possibilities are endless and the end results never cease to amaze and please me. It is quite possible that my style developed because I have a bit of OCD. Heavy precise lines are definitely my style. I am really particular about my lines and that seems to be a theme running through my doodles and it really impacts how a doodle looks when it’s finished. Sometimes I really enjoy my heavy lined style and other times I wish I wasn’t so anal about getting all the lines to look heavy.

I hope this gives you more to think about – I know it has me.

Look like Cinnamon in wrapping paper - is she the shy one yes?

She look happy now with Sydney. Find good friend - many happy times ahead. Maybe they can be having the space rabbit horse babies?

Nice picture, hope they come visit soon.
